For more than 30 years—and over 35,000 hours of hands-on coaching—Fernando Paredes has dedicated his life to helping people move better, eliminate pain, and build bodies that work with them, not against them.
Fernando is widely respected for his expertise in rehabilitative strength training, core integration, movement mechanics, and performance training for adults over 40. But his approach didn’t come from textbooks alone—it was forged through personal adversity, deep study, and decades of real-world coaching.
His journey began early.
At age 12, Fernando overcame a severe full-body skin condition using a holistic nutrition and detox approach—decades before the gut–skin connection became widely recognized. At 17, a serious back injury sparked a lifelong pursuit to understand how the body truly heals, stabilizes, and generates strength from the inside out.
Those early challenges became the foundation for decades of focused study in:
biomechanics and movement science
posture, gait, and structural alignment
fascia, breath, and neurology
ancient physical culture methods
strength development and injury recovery
That work ultimately evolved into the Fusion Fitness & Performance™ Training System, the Core-to-Strength™ Method, and the Total Body Core Model™—proprietary systems refined through more than 15 years of testing inside his private Doylestown studio.
In 2003, Fernando opened Fusion Fitness Studio to escape the limitations of commercial gyms and deliver truly individualized coaching. By 2009, his methods had been fully systematized and proven across hundreds of clients—from beginners and active adults to executives and competitive endurance athletes.
His coaching philosophy continued to deepen through later personal trials, including a major slip-and-fall injury in his 40s and heart surgery in his 50s—experiences that sharpened his precision, expanded his empathy, and reinforced the importance of intelligent, sustainable training.
Fernando has been featured in PhillyFIT Magazine, The Philadelphia Inquirer, CN8’s Your Morning, It’s Your Call with Lynn Doyle, CBS News, and served as a strength coach at the Todd Wiley World Championship Triathlon Training Camp.

Grace has been a cornerstone of Fusion Fitness Studio since day one.
With over 20 years of experience, she’s known for her powerful combination of precision coaching, tough-love accountability, and a deep ability to connect with clients on a personal level.
A graduate of the National Personal Training Institute (NPTI), Grace finished at the top of her class and was selected as a student instructor — a testament to her mastery and leadership.
She brings that same standard to every session, tailoring programs to meet clients exactly where they are and helping them grow beyond what they believed possible.
Outside the studio, Grace is a force.
As a USA Cycling Elite-Level Mountain Bike Racer, she dominated the 2016 Mid-Atlantic Super Series, winning 7 of 8 races and taking the overall championship in her category.
Her athletic background gives her a deep understanding of mindset, performance, and resilience — qualities she weaves into her coaching every day.
