Fernando Paredes
Founder, Fusion Fitness Studio
Fernando Paredes, a 30 year veteran of the fitness industry, has personally logged over 40,000 hours training people of all levels and is a highly-sought after health, fitness and performance expert.
Fernando was a contributing fitness columnist for PhillyFIT magazine, Movement Sports Magazine, has been featured on Comcast Network’s “Your Morning” show, “It’s Your Call with Lynn Doyle”, WFMZ Channel 69 News, CBS/CW Philly and The Philadelphia Inquirer and been a presenter at the Endurance Sports Expo because of his innovative Core-to-Strength Training ™ approach. Fernando has gained the reputation as the expert other trainers turn to for advice and the ‘go-to’ source for anyone interested in attaining lasting results and achieving their true potential.
Fernando knows all too well the frustration and struggles of trying to get in shape. If growing up overweight and unathletic wasn’t enough, Fernando suffered a lower-back injury as a teenager, that became so severe that, while in his mid-twenties, Fernando had to walk with the aid of a cane.
Undeterred, he continued to search for solutions and learned ‘uncommon methods’ of exercise that quickly solved his lower-back pain WITHOUT the daily use of muscle relaxers, pain killers, orthopedic devices, or the always unpredictable invasive surgery.
This experience changed Fernando’s body and life, giving him a unique perspective and understanding of human movement mechanics. Helping others attain the body and life they desire quickly became his passion.
In 2003, Paredes opened Fusion Fitness Studio, a private training facility in Doylestown, PA, which offers cutting-edge programs and individualized instruction to people of all levels ranging from struggling beginners to serious athletes looking to attain higher levels of performance.
INNOVATION - A Proprietary System That Works For Anyone
In 2009, after 15 years of in-the-trenches experience as a Trainer, 6 years of painstaking research reviewing physical culture methods of the past and present-day exercise science, 2 years of development and meticulous refinements, Fernando created his Fusion Fitness & Performance™ training system and named his exercise methodology Core-to-Strength™.
Triathlete Strength Training SPECIALIST
Due to his success in improving triathletes physical performance, Fernando has been the area's "go-to" strength coach for endurance athletes. For 6 years, he was the featured strength training coach at "Todd Wiley's World Championship Triathlon Training Camp", hosted by the prestigious Lake Placid Training Center.
