Did You Know…

  • For thousands of years (3500 B.C - 1950 A.D.) all exercise systems followed a holistic approach to health and fitness which emphasized total-body exercise?

  • In the 1800’s the term “Physical Culture” was coined to describe the traditional holistic, total-body exercise approach?

  • Gyms in the 1800’s - early 1900’s only taught total-body exercise with traditional tools: Indian clubs, barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, cables & pulleys, medicine balls and ropes?

  • Around 1950, two things emerged that led to the tragic downfall of the original (and very successful) Physical Culture approach: exercise machines that isolated muscle groups and the discovery of steroids?

  • In the 1970’s, an expanding new fitness industry, spearheaded by exercise machine manufacturers, heavily promoted isolation exercise?

  • By the 1980’s, conventional exercise programs were all based on isolation exercises and copied from bodybuilding workouts designed for people with “textbook-perfect” bodies?

  • Conventional isolation exercise primarily trains the large “showy” muscles of the body (10%) and ignores the other 90% of your support muscles?

  • That since the 1970’s, there has been an exponential increase in people experiencing orthopedic problems like: low-back pain, shoulder, hip and knee injuries?

The conventional exercise industry has created
a host of physical problems because
they ignored our physical culture roots.

Thankfully, we have a solution…

A major decline in human performance occurred in the 1970’s when a new fitness industry traded substance (Physical Culture) for a bunch of shiny machines and one-size-fits-all exercise programs.

Disillusioned with one-dimensional conventional exercise, Fernando researched all past and present methods to find a better, more complete way. And after years of testing, he took the best techniques and developed them into a comprehensive system.

FUSION FITNESS & PERFORMANCE™ continues the tradition of the original Physical Culture methods of the past and combined it with present-day science. It’s a complete A-Z health, fitness and performance system that delivers extraordinary results in a fraction of the usual time!

The fact is we still function the same as people did thousands of years ago. There was a reason why the holistic, total body approach to human performance was the norm for thousands of years… it’s what works best for us and had a track record of success to prove it.

As with all the successful training systems of the past, our system looks at the human body as a whole. It addresses everything from breathing, digestion, proper rest, mindset and physical training in a balanced way for vibrant health and dynamic fitness and performance.

It’s a powerful best-of-both-worlds system you won't find anywhere else.

Original PHYSICAL CULTURE HIERARCHY:
Health is always 1st
– foundational health and wellness is needed before anything else can be achieved. Should not be compromised in the process.
Strength is 2nd – to be developed to enhance health and fitness
Appearance is 3rd – which improved automatically as a result of attaining the previous two of the hierarchy: Health and Strength

Original PHYSICAL CULTURE PRINCIPLES:
- The Human Body is a dynamic living "machine"
- Total-body exercises are a must for authentic results
- Balanced physical development is the ultimate goal
- Personalized instruction is needed for optimal results
- Fitness-for-Life: the focus is to create healthy habits, a strong, fit and energetic body to enhance quality of life, increase longevity and to become a better person.

CORE-TO-STRENGTH™ trains the body “from-the-inside-out”, building balanced total-body strength and solves all the problems created by conventional strength training.

This means less aches, pains and injuries while increasing strength, flexibility and performance!

Core-to-Strength trains ALL muscles… not just the 10% of large “showy” muscles. Our exercises train the entire body: the 90% of smaller structural muscles along with the large muscles, all together. This creates balanced, all-around strength and structural support.

Core-to-Strength works for ALL bodies… not just bodies that have textbook-perfect responses. If something isn’t working, we can “troubleshoot” to identify the problem and make the needed adjustments to keep you moving forward. This allows for every body to exercise effectively.

Core-to-Strength works for ALL levels… not just those who have “super” genetics. Our program can adjust with multiple variations of exercises, stretches, routines and techniques that can match your fitness level. This makes success attainable for all.

Core-to-Strength works it ALL together… no super-long workouts needed! Our methods prove the concept that “Less is More”. Our efficient total-body workouts train multiple muscle groups and abilities: strength, flexibility, core, balance and endurance all at the same time! We design our exercise routines very carefully in order for you to get the maximum results in the least amount of time.

Core-to-Strength has 3-stages of development. Each stage prepares you to advance to the next CTS level:

  1. Restore the foundation.

  2. Rebuilding strength and skills.

  3. Develop total-body strength, skills and abilities.

Restoration, Fitness and Performance all in one workout system. It’s a difference you can feel. Come in and try it for yourself… you’ll become a believer fast!
